Person with tattoos crocheting a white and purple unicorn.

A story of human hearts and hands defying the stereotypes of incarceration.

Billy Ray Worth and Clay Turner, two incarcerated men serving life sentences, forge an extraordinary friendship through an unexpected act of compassion: starting a crochet group to make warm items for fellow inmates in hospice care.

Together, they lead a community of men who defy stereotypes about life behind bars, finding purpose and connection through caregiving and creativity. As the group collaborates on a special project—a crochet wall hanging for the hospice unit—their story becomes one of redemption, transformation, and the enduring power of human connection.
